TIMF E-op No: 2 – Taxation: The Scheme of Redistribution

The Founding Fathers where very deliberate in crafting specific guidelines and boundaries with respect to the role of the Federal Government; as to the issue of Taxation, they were explicit: 

Article I, Section 2, Clause 3: 

“Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers. 

Article I, Section 8, Clause 1: 

“The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.”

De-Generative vs. Pro-Generative: Why Economies Fail

The current state of the U.S. Economy has a great many folks looking for some form of government action; some form of strategic plan for arresting the seemingly unstoppable trend toward certain collapse. The subject of Economics is puzzling for many particularly on the macro or national level and there is an expectation that lingers in the public sentiment that the President and Congress should be doing something about it however it is doubtful that either possess the political will to do what must be done to correct decades of flawed economic and monetary policy.

Introducing “TIMF E-op” – Economic Opportunities In The Making

There is little if any sign of a strategic plan being offered, by either Party or Candidate, for revitalizing the U.S. Economy and oddly enough the very people (Congress) who’ve licensed the wholesale raping and pillaging of the U.S. Economy lack even the most elementary insights of how to reverse the current economic (or societal) trend. Regrettable as this may seem that fact remains that the American People will, nonetheless, need to rely on the Congress to perform and demonstrate in a manner of aptitude and in a form of action they appear to have long ago surrendered: Deliberate, Decisive, Relevant, Constitutional and Judiciously Willing.

The U.S. Economic Divide

Economics is one of those subjects that suffers from its own unique form of multiple personality disorder; there’s the academic, the financial-markets, the banking, the global, the government, the political and the social-equality econ-segmentation each with their own deliberate bias attached to a specific outcome the consequence of which is the general state of economic chaos we observe today – The U.S. Economic Divide. 

To place a limit on the breadth of this effort I will use two terms to act as a base reference point for what follows and they are:
