One Office At A Time

The future is what you make of it; how you get there is what you vote for. Much about this country’s political/socio-economic platform is a direct reflection of the public expectation; having come to expect something for nothing it then follows that the outcome is really not unexpected; now is it!

Most Americans have turned their back on the ballot box and in some way who can blame them however, that is part of the “change” strategy/platform; turn the system against itself and it will collapse. It’s time, seriously, way past time that Americans re-acquire their sovereign state and though you may not like the Candidates made available, two choices still remain:

Rubio

While Marco Rubio’s polish is on display and his temporary “bump” in opinion-polls levitates I continue to question, some 15 months before the GOP Convention, why the rush? Why the risk of inviting public-fatigue? Why, in a potential field of 20-plus, would a candidate preempt the coming flood?

I’ve never been a fan of active officeholders, specifically Senators & Congressmen/women, running for office. I continue to hold to the belief that Governors, or better yet, non-politicos are the best candidates for the highest office. Where Rubio is concerned, he thinks the Florida-strategy is to run a rabbit with hopes the hounds are kept occupied to a point of fatigue.

Russian Tit For Tat

In an attempt to belie internal political struggles Putin continues to manage Russia’s resurgent geo-political footprint. For the American public, this should serve as a reminder of how volatile and how quickly the world stage can fracture when U.S. Foreign Policy is micro-managed by political apparatchiks with servile intent.

It is true that the U.S. has, by favoring global hegemony, given-up on developing and refining its internal strengths giving way in one form or another to military confrontation which of course is clearly not in the best interests of the American people. The fact remains that Obama’s policy of Negotiated-Disengagement is creating an exponential threat; by ignoring the effect of the vacuum he’s creating he’s equally ignorant of the invitation he’s extending.
