I’ve written before on my, as well as others, suspicious of the curious claims relating to man’s contribution to the conundrum identified as “Climate Change”.
The crisis is not so much as man’s contribution to Global Warming as it is to his contribution to Global Blundering!
I refer to it as the Vacuum of Global Conscience primarily as it illustrates how the devise of Economic Need and Economic Pandering converge to become, in effect, one and the same: Divisive Greed!
The Global Vacuum is created by a series of contributing factors none of which bear any causal relationship to Environmental Issues. Here are a few examples of precisely what I’m referring to:
- University Resident Research (URR): This cloistered environment lives or dies on the success of securing funding sources.
- Science Based Foundations (SBF) or Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE): Similar in form to the previous however often separate and distinct from the environs of academia. Funding sources are often University, Industry, Foundation or Government Grants.
- Speculative Economic Interests (SEI): A broad brush identifier describing various Economic Interest (Corporate, Government or Individual) that seek to benefit from promoting “over the horizon” or “trend” evolutions.
In practice, each of these three benefit by articulating their beneficial positioning down stream of some sort of crisis, real or, increasingly, completely manufactured crisis and as we know, there are huge rewards to be created in managing the contours of a crisis.
Referring, specifically, to the 3 “markers” above, we find each driven by their own monetary needs the demands of which position the more refined motivation of Social (or Environmental) good, which is the professed ambition of these bastions of higher intellect and conscientiousness, to the distant rear of Economic ambitions. A possible, and likely cause of this misdirection may be attributed to the global march toward financial oblivion which, in turn, is fueled by predatory global monetary/financial ambitions and their having consumed financial liquidity to the point where we find these 4 sectors (referenced above by acronyms) struggling and/or scouring the fields for booty.
In the case of the “URR”, “SBF” or the “GSE”, these entities see an Economy as the host it can feed on. The seemingly never ending supply of whale blubber that it can harvest at will to fuel the engine of its systems. In the case of the GSE (e.g., the United Nations and in the case of the U.S., the EPA) these often morph to become powerfully authoritative regimes that wield tremendous amounts of influence over all sorts of issues and political/economic terrain. Most importantly, over Individual Lives!
In the last few days we’ve begun to see the inchoate form of these influences and how they silently maneuver themselves to yield a beneficial reward. I speak directly to the discoveries of over 1000 email containing nearly 3800 documents, obtained from The University of East Anglia (England), which support the claim that, in fact, not only is the connection of man’s causal relationship to Global Warming a hoax, but also that the manipulations of data covers the truer suggestion that in reality, Global Temperatures are actually in a downward trend of much larger, long-term, cycle. There is, of course, one last Entity that is the most, potential, troublesome of all: the Speculative Economic Interest (SEI). Always looking for an economic advantage that will manipulate any of the other 3 to their advantage; I trust few have not forgotten that “CFC” adventure of the late ’70’s through the early 1990’s. You have? Well let me refresh your memory: Freon (aka, R-12) was deemed a toxic CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) and considered the single greatest cause for the dangerous (claimed) levels of atmospheric ozone depletion. Production of Freon, in the U.S. and parts of Europe, was suspended and all applications/uses of this product had to be reconfigured /replaced to be able to use a replacement product, “R-134”.
As it turns out, the scientific data was deemed, albeit well after the conversion, to be completely fabricated! However, here are the remains: (1.) DuPont, the manufacturer of R-12, was loosing its hold on the protective advantage of its Patents for R-12. (2.) R-12 continued to be manufactured by Subsidiaries outside of the excluded areas (U.S. and portions of Europe) and continues to be both profitable, efficient and very much available. (3.) Turns out, R-134 is far more toxic than R-12. And, (4.) Studies, atmospheric and earth based, suggest that the variations in Ozone levels is largely due to Solar Flares.
And then, there is the great ruse-ster of all, none other than the former Vice-President of the United States himself, the supremely urbane, Al Gore and his personal financial cabal that not only created the idea of “Carbon Credits”, but provides and international venue for Trading them! How eco-conscious can you get!
I don’t know, you fill in the blanks!!!
In the Global Vacuum of Conscience, there’s inevitably going to be a few Hoovers that make a real mess!
If there is truly Global Warming, it’s likely from to much talk about absolutely nothing, present company excluded, of course!
