While it remains unclear how the Dem powerbrokers will cancel-out Biden’s grip what is far more troubling is who his malleable substitute will be? Clearly Biden is not up to the challenge and yet who would dare step in to fill the hole his Administration and support system has created? How would the Dems orchestrate a reverse course sufficiently potent to rewrite the scarring script of progressive-fascism? Will they even dare to? Will they turn on Biden’s record?
For a level of conduct known for its surgical skill for pealing the flesh off an adversary the DNC’s irreverence for truth and the fact that they are willing to cannibalize Biden pales in the face of a far more serious question: Who will become his replacement? After all, at this late date, what script can the DNC’s convention market capable of overcoming existing narratives? Considering the massive failures of the current Administration this is no small task!
Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom, both poll poorly and drag truckloads of refuse, are incapable of facing-down Trump or Vance. Still, don’t count him out after all Aunt Nancy (Pelosi) will be working every possible angle in her effort to salvage his pollical hide and her legacy.
No, if the DNC wants to beat Trump they will need glitter-power, a progressive-fascist they can dress-up real-pretty, be malleable and capable of seducing the DNC Legacies back into a frenzied horde of activists.

Pelosi et al will be thinking of a short-game, a push with intensity believing that with their current Blue-State Block all they need is to secure three of the five to six States up for grabs.
(Sidebar: #1. I don’t believe the DNC is bothered with considering just how vulnerable their Blue Anchor States might actually be. And #2. Don’t count on Obama being willing to sanction Michelle’s entry into the political fray. To do so is to risk suffering a level of humiliation, similar to Hillary Clinton’s, and I see no pathway thru Obama’s Himalayan-sized ego that would risk damage to the “Obama Mystique.”)
While none of the following possess solid leadership skills, financial/fiscal/economic/trade capacities what they do have is malleability, they are shape-shifters capable of telling you whatever you want or need to hear without ever acknowledging/understanding what it is or possessing any intention of being able to deliver it. Mastering this skill is what makes them a politician and able to win elections
In no particular order, let me offer you the following schedule of possible Biden replacements I’d expect to see:
- ? The Known But Yet To Be Revealed Savior of the Dems
- Josh Shapiro, Governor, State of Pennsylvania
- Mark Kelly, Senator, State of Arizona
- Andy Beshear, Govenor, State of Kentucky
- Amy Klobuchar, Senator (Minnesota)
- Joe Manchin, Senator (W. Virginia)
While each of these have defects only Gabbard and Manchin have detectable levels of Foreign Policy experiences, they each can be shaped and contoured sufficiently making them marketable to the self-loathing as the saviors of the DNC’s failing appeal.
Now then, here’s where it gets interesting! What do you do with Kamala Harris? To offer her as Biden’s replacement is certain death for the Dem control of both the White House and the House/Senate and to ignore her as the “rightful” successor to Biden I expect will be seen as a non-option. So, what’s to become of Ms. Harris? Consider this:
a. Pelosi/Obama et al arrange for an offer to be presented to Kamala. An offer of a “most noble” position in some global enterprise sufficiently appropriate for a person of Ms. Harris’s acclaim, virtues and ego. Perhaps a position at the Hague, the Minister of the newly created Ministry of Global Gender Identities. A position so filled with “correctness” how could one possibly turn it down! (Or, they simply ignore her altogether.)
b. Upon receipt of the invitation Ms. Harris announces to the Nation that she has been humbled by this most unexpected invitation and while her call to National service has been a great honor, the salvation of the Human Right to Self-Identification is beyond National Boarders and on to the eternal enrichment of Mankind. She announces that, after counsel with the President, her Husband, Family and Faith Leadership and as soon as a suitable replacement can be identified she will step down from the Office of the Vice President. (Or, they ignore her altogether.)
c. Any one of the Candidates above could be appointed as her replacement with the eye on selecting the person who would assume the VP Candidacy.
d. What becomes of Joe Biden? One of two options: He steps aside as Presidential Candidate and the Harris replacement moves in to fill that position alternatively both positions are filled at the Open Convention nomination. Or, and this is where it gets decidedly creative….,
e. Biden has a “medical” event, steps down from the Office of the Presidency, the Harris replacement becomes President and then appoints, with a majority confirmation by the Upper and Lower House of the U.S. Congress, her successor. Lastly,
f. A minor change in the scenario occurs in the case where Biden’s “medical” event occurs sooner, and I mean before the DNC Convention, and Harris is foisted into the Office of the Presidency before Pelosi et al can act to move her out; they may be forced to let her run as the Incumbent. Even more bizarre is this: In the Presidential Line of Succession after the VP it is the Speaker of the House. Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican!
Before closing our review of the issue let me offer one last perspective. While it is expected the Joe Biden will concede is own nomination to that of an “open convention,” which is tantamount to saying that he will not endorse Kamala Harris. Still, don’t expect forces aligned with DNC traditions to silence their opposition to efforts aimed at bypassing her “rightful” place in the nomination process.
The open issue remains and becomes, decidedly, more unsettling: Which Democratic Operative would be willing to hitch their political career to the Biden-Harris’s profoundly failed legacy? Really! Understand that even with the media coverage working overtime in an attempt to lift the Post Biden narrative out of the sewage that smothers it let’s be completely clear on this: The individual who sports the banner of the DNC’s VP Candidate will be risking their political future.
In the end, is it possible for the Democrats to pull this off? Yes and one should be certain that some version of the above is already underway. Can they beat the Trump-Vance ticket? I’ll answer it this way: Baring any sudden and unexpected bolts of lightning striking the RNC Ticket the only way the DNC can improve its odds is by doing everything they can to distance their replacement ticket as far away as flagrantly possible from Biden/Obama and their DEI allegiance.
Will it matter? Will the DNC’s actions affect the November 5th outcome? My instinct says yes, but not in the way they’d expect however one thing is proven certain: The American Voter turns on emotion, not on fact and in an unsecure voting structure such as ours we’ve learned how narrow margins are easily manipulated. And yet, above all there is one issue that we must be careful not to ignore and that is Joe Biden’s deteriorating health. Conspicuous as it was during the run-up to the 2020 Election it is indisputable that his decline as been accelerating. It has always been my position that Biden would never see a 2nd Term as President; increasingly, the idea that he won’t see the end of his 1st Term is becoming increasingly unlikely.
