One needn’t dig too deeply into consciousness before making contact with the dissonant tensions of conscience. Most will run into the wall of universal horror, the barrier of resistance that keeps you reverently humane in the ways of your thinking, doing and speaking.
Very few about the Country, and even fewer outside of it, are reveling in the results of the U.S. Presidential Election process; they’re experiencing contact with the “wall of universal horror.”
Regardless of who you voted for no thinking person can reconcile the grotesquely disproportionate results occurring in the battle ground states. The expected outcomes are not at issue, e.g., California remains a “red” State, but who thought the forces would be so bold, so openly willing to flaunt a deception that would be so easily detected in those States where they clearly were not, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan etc.? Yes of course, it is the arrogance of authority but what should be of more interest is why? I leave this one for you to ponder but let me help you by narrowing your pool of possible answers: (1) It’s not because they can. (2) It’s not because Trump has a legacy of failure. And (3) It’s not because Trump is a racist; this fact is again proven by voter analytics and his policy successes. Again, why? You should think about this long and hard and then ask, once you do, why there is so little outrage, regardless of party affiliation.
Once the American People realize they’re all sailing on the very same ship they will also come to the realization that not a one of our individual distortions matters, not at one. In nautical terms: Every sinking ship surrenders its buoyancy. This Country will never again seat a Republican President if the defects in our National Election System isn’t repaired.
Have differences of opinions and perspectives, absolutely challenge one another forward through the perfecting forces of thought and vigorous dialogue with the clear understanding that there is, ultimately, only one type or version of balance and when that outcome is achieved be very grateful as in this type of battle there are no casualties. It is a fact that for a representative democracy to survive it must secure fair and factual elections and so what does it say about a nation that will openly champion the wholesale killing of unborn children, send their youth off to fight wars of plunder under the banner of making the world safe for democracy and is unwilling to defend and secure the underpinnings of the very system its claim to stand for? What this current election cycle has confirmed for me is this: Not very much!
Just how bad is the crushing force of vice? Just how far afield is this Nations move toward perpetual imbalance? You tell me; Portland is celebrating with the burning of its City Hall and even the Democrats in Washington are having a meltdown! When you have a Political Process that refuses to secure the voting process, referring to the notion as “voter suppression”, what do you expect. Really, what do you expect! Make no mistake, not at all unlike Caiaphas, the rapist is very much aware of their depravity even if they believe they’ve the cover of their victim(s) to insulate them from the light of day. No American, no person of integrity, should ever stand with or for the dissolution of a more perfect union and its implicit promise.
Yes, absolutely, the outcome of the election is very troubling and for many this will appear as if to sound an epitaph on the Trump Presidency, not so as his legacy will ultimately be seen as a great gift to this Nation, the World and the lives of those not lost to the scars of war however it will be a lasting stain on the soul of her People if we do nothing to bring an end to this perennial abuse.
