Short story is this: Comey’s first priority is to protect the FBI and to do so he took a skin-tight view of the “referral” from the I.G. for fear of being blasted as a political stooge, from either side. One remarkable thing that Comey did was to be sure there were sufficient table-scraps remaining with the hope that Congress or some other Body or Agency would pick up Clinton’s trail-of-demons. Alas making it nearly impossible for the Justice Dept. to bury the lead; Lord knows there is no shortage of them.
The greater question is what does Obama do now that his poster-child is still not in-the-clear? A.G. Lynch will not be able to protect her nor will the cluster of her zombie-gnostic’s fantail of supports be able to redirect the blow-back with their customary sludge-speak, the likes of which Nancy Pelosi built her fame.
Both Clinton’s are strangely silent as is President Obama; no stump speech of vindication or claims of how the system has worked. No, nothing but silence! I continue to be near certain that Clinton will not make it to November.
Will the roll-out occur at the DNC Convention later this month? Will they go thru the motions and let the course run thru late August/September? Will they, in response to an unexpected health-scare, force Mrs. Clinton out of the race? Will this create a ground-swell with a pull-on-the-heart strings reverie over her years of valorous service fanned by a yet-to-be named (Biden/Kerry/ or God forbid Warren) savior/substitute?
Sound far-fetched does it? Not in the upside down reality of present day United States and precisely why you should expect it!
