Care to Dance?

“The sun had long since bid its parting adieu though its presence lingered in the canopy of stars; a soft evening breeze eases itself across the bay to fan the buckeye and maple trees which line the esplanade and though not immediate to his view the occasional scent of polish sausage and sauerkraut tethers one to the thought of a nearby vendor and his push-cart.

Quinn’s day was occupied with, as he would often say, ‘wrestling with the rabble’ refining the last of the tasks integral to this evenings plate-for-play fundraiser. His status amongst the pecking order does not afford him attendance-rights; his work is done though he believes the music selection was a most chaotic mix of ‘thump’n grunt’ hip-hop which he found crass and uninspiring. The Production Staff had commissioned a poll in search of fashionable music genres delivering Quinn two MP3 players each containing a file distinct in their perspective and sense of purpose. Unfortunately the Candidates Chief-of-Staff objected to the more lyrical arrangements of Cole Porter and Nelson Riddle suggesting that ‘we need to show youthfulness and expectant energy’ which apparently trumps class and good taste. ‘You don’t get it Quinn! We’re not here to dance; we’re here for the money and the votes it acquires. It’s more of a social event, form over substances; people don’t care about substance, they don’t come for democracy and they don’t come to play, they come to be seen so that it all appears in order, you know, real. It must appear to mean something!’

Quinn retrieves a cell phone from his pocket and look to check the time; 8:55 Pm appears on the display and while he thinks to himself, ‘any moment now’, a pair of hands appears from behind and move swiftly to cover his eyes; he knows the touch, the scent and their companion as does his heart. He spoke of the day’s mostly ‘uninspiring’ events and the mechanical abuse of contemporary campaign psychosis and he asks, ‘Do you think most folks prefer form over substance? I don’t believe it should be so easy to trump class and good taste!’ He reaches in to his satchel and grips ‘the more lyrical’ player and fumed, ‘There is still good, NO, PERFECT music for dancing!’

A moment or two pass as Ali sits quietly collecting each spectral moment and detail and once satisfied a warm, deliberate and assuring smile illuminates the moment. Her laurel-green eyes luminesce by light of the evenings moon now turn toward Quinn and lifting his chin with her fingertips she offers; ‘It is substance which makes form perfect much as music provides dance its rhythm. You see, Politicians are accustomed to the money and the votes it purchases and this, to them, is the only form that is real. I think People have had enough of what they have seen and prefer instead to be heard. Yes there are People who care for what makes music perfect; problem is I believe most candidates and politicians are tone deaf.’

While Quinn connects ear-buds to the Player he stands and extends his hand to Ali praying for the best possible response; ‘Ali, it’s a perfect evening; care to dance?’ Form and substance, class and good taste – together at last.”

Now then on the other side of town: There’s truly nothing mysterious about the uninspired save for the extreme amounts of effort expended in making the apocryphal seem real, even substantive. I’m tracking what to me are extraordinary events both here in the U.S. and in Europe. Though not identical in form they appear equally specious as to their origins; each unsettling as they are predictable and I felt the following observations would be served well by way of contextual introduction so what might have seemed a rather curious introduction I trust will mature into a useful metaphor. Let us begin with the following:

Greece and the E.U.:

Greece debt-load, as a percentage of the E.U. total, is a paltry .43% while their GDP, as a percentage of the E.U. total, is a mere 1.87%. These simple facts should lead one to question: What is so significant about the so-called Greek Debt-Crisis and why the robust media attention? What issue is of such supreme importance that the E.U. Government would insist that Greece suspend a National Referendum which intimates, as a matter of clarity, that the People of Greece possess no sovereign right of self-determination? Hold the thought for a moment while we consider…

U.S. and Campaign 2012:

There are numerous examples from which one might establish the parallel I intend. Here a just a few:

• U.S. continued Middle-East, in the name of economic security, involvement.

• U.S. Debt Super-Committee’s specious reasoning’s and certain failure.

• The Obama Administrations uncanny ability for exceeding its own divisive standards.

• The U.S. Congress’s stalwart perfection of ineptitude and political avarice.

• The financial quagmire that has overtaken this nation’s once potent economic engine. Or the

• Seemingly incongruent pathology that seeks to equate government entitlement as being the equal of economic health.

Yet it is in the area of the current Presidential Campaign process that I’ve discovered the most compelling observation of all which I’ve refined as follows:

• Former Gov. Romney is touted as the most qualified and likely nominee – ignoring the fact that 80% of likely voters remain uncommitted – and yet, like the current occupant of the Oval Office, he exhibits no substantive qualifications.

• Early on Gov. Perry broke the stated flora as if to simulate the second-coming and now seems relegated to counter-punching as his only means for attracting attention.

• Newt Gingrich, like Romney, prefers to play the odds betting on an Opponent’s failure and the inertial swing that invariably follows a campaign crisis, real or manufactured.

• Ron Paul is without question the most relevant Candidate however the media has so effectively managed to taint his qualities that Americans remain tentative and restrained by their ignorance opting instead for the more fashionable form.

• And of course there is Herman Cain who like Ron Paul appears to be shaking the regime of form over substance to its very core and it remains to be seen if his numbers can endure the novelty of a public’s fickle exuberance and the efficiency of the political elite’s media lust bent on crippling his momentum.

Form or Substance:

There is much vested in the Global Regime remaining as it is and incredible efforts have been expended in seeing to it that it does even if it means preventing the purifying and perfecting processes from occurring. At stake is a global regime of thought which places greater emphasis on form (the Order as it is) and views substance (the Sovereign Rights of the Individual) as cannon fodder. The Post WWI ascension of the Global Banking Regime has been intimately involved in structuring the Global Caste System which continues to orchestrate events the world over and the processes by which this occurs is surprisingly simple if not out-right repulsive; it preys on the combined ignorance and hubris of the Political Elite and the Public general contempt for the processes of the Political Elite. The end result is that the Banking Regime easily controls the processes of Government and the processes of Government anesthetize Public or send them into convulsions.

The Political Elite will not tolerate a Ron Paul or a Herman Cain and they most willingly toss the like of a Huntsman, Perry or Baughman into the ring simply to add color, cover and contamination to aid in assuring the chosen one is the ultimate choice. Likewise, in Europe dissention will not be tolerated either and notice how quickly the Order moves in to eradicate opposition; few recall that Slovakia (October 2012) was prepared to oppose the E.U. Debt Package and in fact voted to do just that only to be forced to affect a recount were a few strategic votes were reclassified leaving Greece to be the lone holdout.

And so;

“He spoke of the day’s mostly uninspiring events and the mechanical abuse of contemporary campaign psychosis and he asks, ‘Do you think most folks prefer form over substance? I don’t believe it should be so easy to trump class and good taste!’ He reaches in to his satchel and grips ‘the more lyrical’ player and fumed, ‘There is still good, NO, PERFECT music for dancing!’

For only a moment or two Ali sits quietly collecting her thoughts,….she offers; ‘It is substance which makes form perfect much as music provides dance its rhythm. You see, Politicians are accustomed to the money and the votes it purchases and this, to them, is the only form that is real. I think People have had enough of what they have seen and prefer instead to be heard. Yes there are People who care for what makes music perfect; problem is I believe most candidates and politicians are tone deaf.’ ”

The era of Global Banking is fast approaching its last call but that’s not to say the transition will be swift and painless. As we’ve seen, the Regime has much invested in the process and though it will inevitably collapse upon itself the collateral effects will likely be of significant magnitude; the longer it takes the American Public to awaken to the facts as they are and not as they appear the more painful and prolonged the recovery and although there are options for 2012 should the likes of a Mitt Romney become the GOP Nominee, the 80% will default as no-shows and Mr. Obama will win a second term. Should the unthinkable happen it will be the end of the GOP as we know it and that will leave the next round of Congressional Elections as the Publics last hope until 2016.

Are you opting-out or do you prefer instead to select the music? “…it’s a perfect evening; Care to dance?
