U.S. Voters: Does Anyone Really Know the What in the Why They’re Voting?

There’s a great deal of air-time given to the publics contempt for Congress and the Presidency. The general dysfunction of government being the driving force behind the “insurgent” candidates and a grass-roots movement bent on overturning the Statist-Elite.

It would seem, given the ruling cabal apoplectic fits, there must be some truth to the observation however by dissecting the public’s response to the various candidates, excising the element of anger and its influences, it’s becoming clear that although the voting public understands that government is out of control it is also the case they’ve lost one critical distinction: what exactly is sound government?

The brilliance of this Nations Constitution is that it remains a pure and perfect template for sound government however, it is only a template. It requires perpetual understanding, conviction and enforced-compliance. It is a living construct however, what it is not is malleable; order never is and it is precisely because this construct has been so completely and savagely abused that the country is in the state it’s in.

I suspect that a majority of the public is unaware of the problems depth and I attribute this to the long-lost principal of “a consenting and yet eternally vigilant” citizenry. Then again, why be surprised after so few self-educate themselves on the subject and even fewer are exposed to the point which should be a prerequisite for being privileged to vote (If you want to read what you need to know on the subject then I heartily recommend beginning with Federalist Paper #57 written by James Madison (circa 1788); it’s well worth your time and there are numerous online sites and so sourcing the document is quite easy).

Voters are, by in large, strapped into an remote controlled aircraft operated by a disinterested rouge sitting at a desk in a plush office in some unknown secure site. They assume a qualified crew is on board however, the cockpit door is closed and as they are either sleeping or consumed by various distraction, no one is aware there are none, at least not on board. The aircraft has only 15 minutes of fuel on board for a remaining flight time of 4 hours and one thing is a certain, they will all share a common point of impact. The tools the passengers would otherwise use to identify a problem/cause and the solution are being masked. They’ve been disabled by a process that has nothing to do, or is not at all concerned with, the problem, the cause or the solution.

The public has effectively been trapped and I believe the following points are the primary reasons (in no particular order) for why:

(1) They’re looking for someone they can believe will magically be able to make their world safe (again). Politicians understand this and so they tell you what you want to hear and you love them for it.

(2)They are unwilling to consider the signs and risks of failure. They’ve bought into the illusion that Government can’t fail and the proof lies in the numerous laws and regulations that pass with regularity.

(3) Dominantly, they are locked into an emotional, intellectual & spiritual death spiral. They are unwilling to hold the system accountable to anything they, individually, would not require of themselves and the widening political-divide and social-friction is proof; people trapped on a remote control aircraft having surrendered their destiny to a control-system that itself is totally out of control.

As the campaign cycle continues, pay close attention to the platitudes of the candidates and ask yourself what it is they are offering that is any different than what presently exists and then, with the previous three points in mind, query the “why” folks lend their support to them.
