Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) Speaks; the Grand Racist!

Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), the Dems Latest Addition to the Body Cavity of the Lower House, Profoundly Speaks!

“The Grand Wizard of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.”

A most detestable comment; you racists, bigoted fascist troglodyte you!

When one suspends reason and decorum for comments such as these you know, instantaneously, that they fear the weakness of their own argument.

Action In Defiance

Life becomes fragile the moment one is faced with an immovable force; the inevitable. Terminal occurs when one gives way to inevitable while courage in action is defiance of both. There’s nothing fragile about courage and life becomes meaningless without it.

I Did, I Sent You!

I, like many, find myself more and more disenfranchised from a political system that bears no resemblance to the promise of our national heritage.

Our national sovereignty and economic future has been repackaged and outsourced with the speed and efficiency of an IRS tax lien; entire industries have been relocated, leaving behind vacant warehouse, silent factories, idle resources of all types and worst of all, broken dreams.

In a country whose very identity rests upon the genius of an ideal that prior to its formation had never seen the light of day, seeing the promise of this land and the industry of so vibrant and genuine a people summarily laid to waste is, as it is for most, simply heart breaking!

A Hope and Message

As I recall, the year was 1993 and I was sitting with a dear friend who was nearing the end of her life.  She was diagnosed, a year earlier, with a terminal illness and her corporal form was yielding to the inevitable. She looked at me and said, “Curtis, please sing for me, sing me that song I heard you sing the other day, you know, the one about ‘…count your blessings instead of sheep!”  I did, of course, honor her request and I remember the moment well.  As I sang each word my eyes filled with tears mostly because of all the possible things she could have asked of me, what she wanted most was this simple song and she asked that I sing it to her.  Me, she wanted Me, to sing for her!
