Iran – Defining a Predator?

At the present time less than a third of the Iranian population was alive when the Shah was in power. For those that were, those that remained in Iran after the 1979 Revolution, or were forced to return, it didn’t take long for them to realize that with the loss of the Shah so went their freedoms, there economic future and their right of self-determination. Simply put it was too late to reverse the subversion of Public Opinion. The Shah’s plan, One could argue, to culture Iran into a western-like economic power was advanced too quickly for devout practitioners of Islam.

“A discontent population is a potent source of fuel for igniting a revolution….”

In the immediate timeline leading up to the Islamic Revolution OPEC, Iran being one of the original funding members, was beginning to favor the massive production capacity of Saudi Arabia forcing a global economic realignment the effects of which were being felt by the People of Iran. Unaware as they were of the external influences manipulating the drop in their national oil revenues made the Iranian People an easy target. A discontent population is a potent source of fuel for igniting a revolution that would last for decades and rapidly transform a Nation into a Fascist State bound to the orthodoxy of fanatical Islamists. I remember the storyline of how “…the Shah’s Palatial Court is outspending the Nations resources.”  Yes indeed a very effective talking point for the Militant Islamists.

To understand the fate of the Shah you must first grasp that Imperialist (today more commonly known as Globalists) do not favor peace in the truest sense of the word. They much prefer the instability caused by the absence of peace combined from time to time with a bit of never-ending war in pursuit of a peace that never actually results in peace, ever! Why? Simple, because for them there is no money in peace, only war. Now then, let’s return to our “timeline.”

“The result of the U.S. decision to bow to the will of the British and French is the “why” you have the Middle East as it is today.”

Unfortunately, at the time, the Shah was terminally ill and would succumb to his illness, while in exile, in 1980. His supposed “Allies”, those who had been bleeding Billions of Dollars a year off of the Nation, either didn’t believe he could survive the fight or believe they’d be better positioned if he was replaced. The result of the U.S. decision to bow to the will of the British and French is the “why” you have the Middle East as it is today. Oh, and a wonderful secret Treaty between the British and French, known as the “Sykes-Picot Agreement” (1916), is a study worthy of your time.

(Sidebar) Iran’s Oil Industry was a contributory cause for much of the economic and social convulsing that was taking place in Iran at the time. The British, in 1901, were the first to purchase Iranian Oil Leases/Rights creating the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (later known as “BP”). The British managed to seduce the Iranian Government into signing a Sixty (60) year agreement with the British Government controlling a fifty-one percent (51%) stake with the balance going to “Private” British interests. The agreement “guaranteed” the Iranian Goverenment sixteen percent (16%) of annual net profits however given that Iran was not entitled to audit/review the company’s financials the actual yield was much closer to four percent (4%). In 1951 the Iranians Nationalized their Oil Industry and shortly thereafter, for having crossed the British, MI6 and the CIA arrange a Coup that toppled (then) Iran’s Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. The newly founded replacement for the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, The National Iranian Oil Company, resumed operations and for years after the British and American influence continued with the British increasingly loosing influence to the U.S. The change in the equation would explain why, behind the scenes, the British were heavily involved in the 1979 overthrow of the Shah.

As the debris settles and the outlook clears it’s undeniable that the U.S. has been at War with Iran since 1979 the costs of which are incalculable. Whatever stabilizing influence we might assign to the Shah there is no challenging the fact that with his loss came the perpetual threat of Militant Islam and the emergence of their many Terror-Proxies. The easy flow in trillions of dollars of petro-revenue and the trillions in defense spending that came with it was just too hard to ignore and so with it went the U.S. and the American People trailed behind.

Suffice it to say there were simply too few willing to tell the American Public what they needed to know instead there were the dedicated few (said with great sarcasm) who became incredibly effective at selling a lie. As to Iran one element of certainty has also become an absolute: Iran is ruled by a terminally fanatical Islamic Regime and must never be allowed to possess weapons of mass destruction.

Reminder: A point largely forgotten relates to a report from back in 2003 when the head of Iran’s nuclear program (who later would become its President), Hassan Rouhani, openly admitted that not only had Iran sufficient material to build a nuclear “device” they had, with the help of North Korea, built and detonated a “device.” What they lacked was the ballistic technology (delivery system) required to make it deliverable. Now, we can confirm that they have 460 kg of 60% enriched uranium which is enough to build approximately 11, 10-20 KT bombs. The 90% level of enrichment is a last step and occurs in a fraction of the time required for the initial step.

The Iranian Leadership need to be held to account, and I can find no medium accommodating any defense for any asserted right that would permit this Regime to operate in the manner they do including their clearly stated ambitions (“Death to America.”)

Presidents, since Carter, have stood by and watch this threat evolve and they chose to do nothing. And no, the JCPOA of 2015 (The Iran Deal) was a corrupted effort by Obama and all it did was showcase his and the U.S. Department of State’s ineptness and the ease with which the Iranian’s out maneuver and demeaned Clinton & Kerry at every level not to mention the 1.3 Billion Dollars Obama hand delivered to Iran; the ultimate showcase of weakness.

It’s long past time to act!
