Doug Hughes, a Florida Postal worker, landed what has been described as a “flying lawn chair powered by a small motor-driven propeller” on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol. In his words; “I flew here because it was the only way I could come up with for the average person to be able to fight against billions of dollars of special-interest money that dominate this city,…it is a ‘necessity’ defense.”
It appears that Mr. Hughes, having declined the Feds settlement offer of a 10 month prison stay, is going to take on the Government stating that “If they want to have a circus, I am going to bring the elephants.” This form of civil defiance is precisely the type of “elephant” the Government can’t ignore; this is the voice that Donald Trump speaks to and what the Bureaucracy of Crony-Elitists fear!
