Hope is an extraordinary word, it’s a force multiplier. On its own it holds a promise, a kinetic form far greater than any individual intending to operate without it. Add the element of Faith to the mix (and when I speak of “Faith” what I really mean is “Certainty,” the state of mind that occurs when you know that you know, no suspicion, no circumspections, no ambiguity; the magnitude and realm absolute) and you are now bound to an unstoppable force.

Nikki Halley, for a reason no competent person can rationally formulate, now that she’d made it to March 6th, 2024 – the last Trump Challenger Standing- managed to accumulate 91 Delegates (to Trumps 1,062 @ 3/6/24) the former Governor it appears that she is presumed due an entitled acknowledgement for representing all those Primary Voters who didn’t cast a vote for Trump including Democrats the crashed party lines. Of course, this notion is devoutly delusional if only for the simple reason that if you accept the premise you would then to dismiss every voter who in the past elected NOT to vote for the Candidate who would ultimately occupy the White House. Moreover, in 2016, there were GOP Candidates who dropped out of the race with a greater number of Delegates than Gov. Halley.
But wait! Yes, but of course we must recognize, so I’m told, that she’s a Women which of course requires the reasonable mind to address two (nascent) questions: (1) Is She to be considered entitled because she’s a Woman or (2) Are we to lower performance expectations, to waive or otherwise suspend every element of reason and decorum simply to rein-in the native conscience from expressing what the rational mind has already thought. Just in case you are fraught with wonder let me cure your anxieties with an inconvenient truth: Yes and it’s on record that several Women, even of color, have made the leap into the circus of presidential candidacy so believe it or not, Ms. Halley is not the first (Women).

Yes indeed, unless there is a new carve-out for Former Female Governors then all that Gov. Haley had done is show that she’s yet another trojan giving cover to the divide and conquer fill-in-the-blank-card all the while looking for an advantage at the expense of both “hope” and “promise.” Plenty of glitter coupled with a complete and comprehensive absence of substance. (Sidebar: Given that Trump, should he win, would be a one-term President I believe Ms. Halley’s strategy was to establish a placeholder for 2028. If Trump returns to the White House and his term is, at the minimum, equal to the success of his first I believe Gov. Halley will find the harvesting of Trump supporters difficult. I believe she has irreparably harmed her political future.)
Yes, the duality of hypocrisy is always distressing; pollical ambitions are supremely at ease with the rhetoric of parasitic hyperbole, being explicit in their competitive assault demonizing their opponent with cryptic munitions simply because they lack the substantive capacity to excel outside of the cannibalistic feeding frenzy that is the norm for a banana republic.
A true Leader leads from a view projected from over the horizon and they do so most effectively when they are thrust into a Leadership Role by those who seek a viable path forward to the very same vision. It’s not simply a shared vision, it’s a shared Ideal, a critical element that one can trace to an element of distinction, the substantive capacity of an Individual capable of this type of over-the-horizon-vision; the very type of distinction this Nation must require of its Leaders if we are to overcome the structural and systemic decay that is allowing the ideal of exceptionalism to rapidly fade away.
This type of Leader offers, without wavering or parasitic pandering, hope and promise without having to draw the arrow of either from the quiver of another. Yes, I’d been a long-time fan of Gov. Halley but not now; she’s shown herself to be just another workhorse for this nation’s toxic political machinery, the very machine that would deny an estimated 70 + Million American’s their choice. Still, for me, it hasn’t ended there, what I found far more troubling was her inability to craft a vision, a display of her own substantive capacity instead, she opted to feed off of the political sewage scaring Trump and I find that devoutly self-serving, predatory and divisively deceptive. Period!
If you aren’t tortured, at your very core, at what this Machine is doing to Trump and that it’s occurring in these United States then I would suggest that that outlook is evidence of the corruptive cancer consuming this nation; we’re losing to many people to the condition that prevents them from understanding they’ve been coerced into submission. Whether you are aware of it or not this Nation is being forced into a state of global feudalism and without a dedicated force in opposition to it we are but one well-planned crisis away from the final drive that will make it unstoppable.
