“In Curtis Greco’s new book, you’ll find out why having the right to vote is just the beginning, and why organizations who promote voter education and engagement are so important for preserving the bedrock of what makes America great for generations to come.”

The Elite Robber-Baron
Implicit in the mind of a predator is the belief in the ideal of no-contest. In effect it becomes an undeniable amassing of overwhelming hubris that when merged with a willing accomplice effectively licenses conquest of any target of imagination. In the Blind-Vision Series I referred to a variant of this process as Legislative-Coercion.

Budget: Question with a Why
Tolerance is one of those words that has become so embossed with all sorts of tentative notions. Tolerance for errors in judgment, tolerance for errors of omission, tolerance for acts of commission and tolerance, well, for being tolerant. Are There Limits To Economic Growth?
Earlier today I was given access to a portion of an upcoming manuscript and then asked to comment on the same. I read the teaser and was taken by the acute discourse its author, Richard Heinberg, was able to craft. Moreover, I was struck by the similarities in our observations and a bit tormented by our respective departures in thought. Still, if the intro is any indication of the totality of his effort, I suspect for those who enjoy in-depth philosophical discussions, the compilation should be well worth the read.
A View to Economic Predation
I speak, write and comment frequently on economic issues using the perspective of both history and economic fundamentals as a compass for repairing the U.S. Economy. I believe this method is the most valuable way to approach the subject particularly when looking at the economic conflicts and financial challenges that surround most Americans. Let’s take a quick look at one of these perspectives:
Do Stimulus Plans Ever Work
Earlier today I was asked to respond to the following question:
“I’m curious to know how you answer this question; When it comes to government stimulus plans, does history show that government stimulus plans have EVER WORKED? Particularly in relationship to FDR, the Depression, and the New Deal.”
For anyone interested in the more clinical explanation for this type of question, here is my response which I trust you will find of interest:
“In responding to your question, I believe the answer needs to be bracketed by a distinct series of foundational points, here are but a few:
