Torture Report Release

With so much to risk, and with nothing tactically to gain, the obvious reason is often the most accurate; the Administrations endorsement of Sen. Feinstein’s release of the intelligence assessment report (a.k.a. the “Torture Report”) can only mean one thing. A political move meant solely to destabilize the various committees soon to be chaired by incoming Republicans.

That’s all. Make no mistake, if you’re going to proclaim a higher standard then you must also live up to, however given, that there are so many areas were political actions violate individual’s sovereign rights. The sanctimonious camber of this issues advocates is significant and less than honorable.

Brown & Carter – Going Dark; A Lesson in Leadership

First, let’s be clear that the argument over “race” is merely a political cover used to mask far more serious issues. Gone are the dynamic and unifying days of Rev. King. A force that sought to eliminate barriers based on color and infiltrate the phobic mantra with a far more enlightened score whose desire was to replace the filter of color with that of the “content” of one’s character; now that’s Leadership!
Replacing Rev. King is the Alinsky-era where race is used solely as a non-defensible strategy; a frontal assault if you will whose sole intent is to shut-down an opposing argument, perspective and/or solution regardless of the facts or prospects. In short, how does the Nation get past and beyond the “slavery” issue if the political advantages of the issue won’t allow for it?
Ironically, if the current trend holds, black-on-black (post the civil-rights era) crime will eclipse the number of slaves held in the U.S. (thru the 1860’s). With the aforementioned as a given we must expose how frequently leadership, particularly amount the self-anointed of color, advantage themselves at the expense of their own community and the greater cause which favors all people.
The battle being fought is not about race. It is over the rule of authority and who has it. It is the plight of the Common Ideal (the “greater cause”) and its diminished influence on/in the national compass of this nation’s leaders who, with devastating effect, have chosen to go dark on the subject.
We now have multi-generational cruelty and ambivalence regardless of color. True leadership never advances a position on the backs of the core; it seeks to lift the whole from the broadest of shoulders invigorated by a conspicuous love for the Ideal!

Conduct Under the Law

While the politicos of race preach the syrupy elixir of fantasy they ignore a far more serious problem. The attributes of mission-creep having corrupted the role of law enforcement and the scope of liberties empowering abuse by the same. In short, when you empower law enforcement with the authority to define for themselves the scope of their powers (under the law) then two outcomes are inevitable:

(1) Confrontation with otherwise law abiding citizens.

(2) The autonomous and arbitrary suspension of the Bill of Rights occurring without and/or outside of judicial action(s) and by those who are theoretically bound to protect and to serve; two perfectly incompatible missions.

The History of Self-Destruct

Any casual observer of history will observe the many cultures that, appearing to approach a perfecting ideal, opt instead for failure. In our present era we are living what will become history in due course and some have pressed forth the question; will we self-destruct? Others, still, believe we have passed the point of no return whereas I continue to believe that at any point along the timeline chaos can be forced into retreat. Dominance merely occurs when none dare speak and act in opposition to a recurring fantasy.

Michael Brown

Anarchy is the emblem of a nation in disorder and there are specific reasons for it:

(1) Failed leadership at key points along the political/legislative chain.

(2) A breach in demonstrated regard for public service by public officials.

(3) Militarizing police forces into para-military regiments.

(4)The abandonment of shame; a necessary component of a solid moral grounding and structure which operates as an individual and national filter for establishing prohibitions.

(5) The failure of institutionalized entitlement policy and the politicization of race vs. race-baiting hoodlums.

(6) Failed national economic policy.
