Boko Haram & the Tragic Convenience of Outrage

Boko-Haram’s  abduction of more than 200 young girls conceals a far greater tragedy that is indicative of what has become the era of the convenience-as-it-suits facility of U.S. Government Policy. The Public’s perception is built upon outrage and why not after all it is (or should be) our most precious ideal; life and the unalienable right of which we must never surrender!

The question is not whether we as a nation have a duty to assert a defense-of-life campaign; the question is far more disturbing. Why, after decades of tolerating the open and willful slaughter of millions, has the U.S. Government suddenly developed a conscience? Where are the British, Italians and French who’ve for centuries maintained wealth-extraction campaigns, in particular, over much of the North African continent? Why the sudden conscript of urgency?

The Clarity of Eisenhower | Legalized Bribery

In an age where public opinion is shaped by well oiled media-machinery it’s increasingly difficult to persuade folks to pull themselves away from the teat-of-the-apocryphal; after all so’n-so from some media outlet, some foolish celebrity or politician said so. The fact remains that the current economic, social and political state of this nation and its continued diminution is neither an accident or, for that matter, deliberate; it is a consequence and yet, fortunately, it is reversible.
The following link is a remarkable piece of work which includes well researched and documented references and it is precisely the length necessary to cover the key points every American should consider. As with all the links I post they are critically relevant and I encourage one and all to pass them around.

The Scourge of Authoritarianism

When Fed/State Legislatures pass a Bill/Act into law, the action is largely conceptual in nature. The operational details are suspended into the realm of TBD by way of enabling legislation provisions. The features contained within the newly created law providing non-elected officials with the authority to create rules and regulations having full force and effect of law. This all occurs after the legislation has passed and the entire process takes place outside of legislative oversight.

Absent Belief & The Trajectory of Ambivalence

A reoccurring theme in queries of our research and position statements is “how did you arrive at this outcome?” My standard answer is simply that it is “70 percent a function of current and historical data trend and what I think of as the ‘kinetic trajectory of biased forces’ while the remaining 30 percent relates to our considering the likelihood of the unknown anomaly occurring.”

Edward Snowden; a Traitor or a Bill of Rights Preservationist?

As you read this be sure to recall that Bob Woodward received “secret” info from FBI Agent Mark Felt that ultimately won him a Pulitzer Prize and today walks about with near legendary status.

It was recently announced that both columnist Glen Greenwald (issued in the name of the Guardian, the publishers of his work) and Bart Gellman (of the Washington Post) received Pulitzer’s for articles written using information sourced from Snowden’s alleged release of so-called “national security secrets.” But yet, juxtaposing the two separate events, Mark Felt vs. Ed Snowden, we’ve yet to filter Snowden’s actions in a manner far less provocative, however far more critically necessary, than those queried by Woodward.
