Ted Cruz Risk Shows GOP Fracture & Why Any Dem Can Win

The ascendancy of one party over another is not so much a function of strength as it is a display of the loosing party’s weakness. Case in point: Obama won, both terms, simply because the GOP (first McCain and then Romney) Candidates were so contemptibly weak and where the GOP is concerned, this has become an endemic weakness. Cruz, and soon-to-come Rand Paul, has no choice but to advance the 2016 calendar, that is, if they want to stand apart from the GOP statists and if he wants the needed strength of an overwhelming groundswell (body count) to counter the blood-money flowing to the most-favored-statist, Jeb Bush.

The Elixir of Slick-Williedom to Save Hilly?

For his apparent ability to slip thru several political crises and charm his way out of bad news, Ronald Reagan earned the title of the “Teflon President.” Then there’s Bill Clinton; in the early days of 24/7 media to the current day no politician, not a one, has managed to refine the art of deflection into an enduring form of duality as has he; not even a close second. He is and will forever be “Slick Willie!”

Gov Scott Walker: Right to Work?

For a Nation that lays claim to being the bastion of freedom & liberty how then do we not support Right to Work statutes?  Why is it that we defer to a private entity (Unions), endorsed by the Federal Government mind you, as the single source for affirming labor rights? If the Federal Government. is able to assert its authority on labor and wage issue statutes, e.g., Minimum Wage Laws, OSHA, Obamacare, and Congress has the ability to legislate its own wage and benefits regulations then why the need for Unions? If this is truly a representative democracy then how is it you exclude the majority (non-union members) from the process?

The Nexus of a Nuclear Iran

While the subject of nuclear talks with Iran becomes yet another geo-political skirmish we mustn’t lose sight of what’s at stake; what no “Deal” will adequately address. There is a reason why the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty was signed. There is a reason why one never empowers a deadly enemy. There is a reason why one never accommodates or sanctions tolerance for the carousel of error.

Sure, it is not possible, in the current era, to eradicate nuclear capabilities from Nations who currently possess it. To even attempt the idea, as a token gesture of faith or commitment, is merely to invite further imbalance. This issue is not a U.S. or even an Israeli security matter, it is one of far greater significance; it is a crisis of the human-spirit.
