Mortgage Redeux

July 1, 2009

Financial Blunder American Style, the near maniacal level of Government waste, stupidity and mindless blundering continues!

Yes, I know, the comments are polemic in appearance however, I know no better way to express the very concern we all have yet absolutely no one is paying attention to. The consequences either.

As of this writing, the Federal Government is nearing 7 Trillion Dollars in various stimulus miss-adventures (including the exposed actions of the Federal Reserve) yet the economic grip on the greased pole continues to slip further on to financial oblivion.

Sadim vs Midas Touch

June 1, 2009

Nothing like a good semordnilap to set one straight! Always looking for a new and invigorating way to describe the unexplainable,  I was toying with the word Midas (you know the Ancient Greek known for his skill at turning anything he touched to gold) looking for a unique way to describe the opposite.  I toyed with “Mudus Touch” (turn to mud), “Mitus Touch” (as in dust mites) and so on but then I discovered a word, semordnilap which is palindromes spelled backwards, I had an idea!  How perfect is that?

“The Sadim Touch”,  everything Sadim touches, it turns to chaos!

A Day at the Market

5/7/09

It was an interesting day in the Financial Markets! I’ve received a few interesting phone calls and emails in response to a few commentaries I made the other day.  It was one of my first ever call in radio events and I was a bit nervous,  once I forgot what I was doing,  I seemed to settle down and resolve to a measured degree of coherence.  I hope.

The Obama Factor

March 16, 2009

For the last eighteen months I’ve been satisfying a profound curiosity by studying, researching and reading all things Obama.  The man fascinates me!  I’m intrigued by the way his cabal has been able to mastermind his ascension to the Throne. Truly remarkable!

Not to ignore the fact that with reference to all things sane, salient and substantively providential, I find him the complete antithesis of each.

His ethos emulates great social antagonists of the past/present.  The list is quite large, here are a few and the most conspicuous:

  • Caligula
  • Marie Antoinette

Stimulus Muss

February 15, 2009

Oh my, will the love affair with Stimulus this and Stimulus that ever stop? Will the question of “why stimulus?” ever be asked? Will inquiry on the subject of “who benefits” from stimulus ever see the light of day?  Will,  and I will accept just one,  any talking head,  politician or financial wizard take the podium and give a complete, thoughtful and coherent explanation of the overall strategy being employed?

Here’s another “curtis-ism”;

The art of controlling dialogue is best expressed by structuring the format in which the dialogue occurs: were relevant answers can be summarily voided through preventing equally relevant questions from being asked!
